Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join the Taylorville Correctional Facility nursing team in Taylorville, Illinois. The RN will provide holistic care to incarcerated patients under the DON and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires an Associate's degree, IL RN licensure (or eligibility), CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Shift is days, with 5 eight-hour shifts and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Illinois or able to obtain licensure.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of the DON or Nursing Supervisor and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Assess and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Pay rate: $49.68/hr.

Shift:Days; 5 8-hour shifts with weekend rotation

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) Illinois license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
