Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking dedicated PRN Registered Nurses to join our team as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering compassionate in-home care to energy workers and their families in Goodyear, AZ. This role emphasizes holistic, patient-centered care in a flexible, independent setting.

You will conduct home visits, perform assessments, educate families, and coordinate with case managers and physicians to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass state and federal background check.
• Malpractice insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to ensure personalized, comprehensive care for each patient.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate scheduling with patients according to plan of care and preferences.
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with Case Managers and treating physicians for a unified care approach.
• Maintain accurate patient logs in the EMR.
• Offer emotional support to patients and family members.

Qualifications

• A valid and active RN License in the state of practice.
• A willingness to travel, bringing care directly to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLSCertification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check, ensuring trust and safety.
• Malpractice Insurance isrequired.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, coupled with a warm, empathetic approach.

Pay Range

USD $45.00 - USD $48.00 /Hr.
