Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking compassionate in-home registered nurses to join as PRN 1099 independent contractors. You will provide holistic, patient-centered care directly in patients' homes and build meaningful relationships within the community.

As an In-Home Health Care RN, you will assess, educate, administer medications, and coordinate with Case Managers while maintaining thorough documentation and ensuring patient comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel and provide in-home care.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check.
• Malpractice insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and a warm, empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to provide personalized, comprehensive in-home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedules with patients according to their plan of care and preferences.
• Monitor patient symptoms and report changes promptly to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Communicate with Case Managers and collaborating physicians or specialists.
• Maintain accurate and empathetic patient logs in the EMR system.
