Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare seeks dedicated PRN Registered Nurses to join as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering holistic, in-home care to energy workers in their homes. You will perform assessments, provide education, and coordinate with care teams to ensure compassionate, patient-centered support.

Requirements include active RN licensure, willingness to travel, BLS, and a commitment to safety and empathy.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Able to pass state and federal background checks.
• Malpractice insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments to tailor in-home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate scheduling with patients according to care plans and preferences.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to caregivers.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with Case Managers and physicians to align care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Be a Pillar of Support:You'll conduct thorough assessments, ensuring each patient receives personalized, comprehensive care.
• Empower Through Education:Guide and educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention, empowering them to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
• Compassionate Assistance:Provide gentle assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed, always with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• A valid and active RN License in the state of practice.
• A willingness to travel, bringing care directly to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLSCertification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check, ensuring trust and safety.
• Malpractice Insurance isrequired.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, coupled with a warm, empathetic approach.
