Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team as in-home care professionals on a 1099 independent contractor basis. You will provide holistic, compassionate care directly in patients' homes, conducting assessments, administering treatments, and coordinating with case managers to follow each care plan.

A valid RN license in the state, willingness to travel, BLS certification, and a clean background are required. Malpractice insurance is required.

Qualifications

• Valid and active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel, bringing care directly to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check.
• Malpractice insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a warm, empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Be a Pillar of Support: conduct thorough assessments and ensure personalized, comprehensive care.
• Empower Through Education: guide patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Compassionate Assistance: provide ADL support with dignity and respect.
• Harmonize Care: coordinate schedule with patients per plan of care and preferences.
• Vigilant Advocate: monitor and report changes in symptoms or behavior.
• Healing Hands: administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborative Spirit: communicate with Case Managers and physicians to ensure a unified approach.
• Diligent Documentation: record care in the EMR system.
