Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a registered nurse to supervise and administer medications for residents in the Assisted Living Department in accordance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines.

The role includes health consultations, notifying physicians or families of health changes, emergency response, and collaboration with all departments while maintaining confidentiality. Requires RN license, CPR, and nursing education with 1+ years in skilled or memory care settings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; nursing focus.
• Nursing area of study; 1+ years experience in skilled, sub-acute, or memory care settings.
• Registered Nurse license in practicing state and CPR certification.
• English fluency to read, speak, write and communicate with team and residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication supervision/administration per Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle guidelines.
• Provide general health consultations and notification to physicians/family about changes in resident health.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and maintain confidential information.

Job Description

• Responsible for medication supervision/administration for the Assisted Living Department in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education:

An Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school: or Two years related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
