Senior Lifestyle seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to administer medications and support resident care in Briarcliff Manor. You will work within regulatory guidelines and a cohesive team to maintain high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 1+ years in senior care, an active LPN license, CPR certification, and English proficiency for clinical duties and emergencies. A comprehensive benefits package and DailyPay are offered.

Responsabilidades

• Administer medications for residents per regulations and guidelines.
• Possibly admit new residents and complete assessments and documentation.
• Develop acute and long-term care plans.
• Coordinate clinical system tracking under director.
• Provide health-related consultations within the community.
• Notify physicians/families of health changes and document appropriately.
• Respond quickly to emergencies.
• Maintain communication with departments and staff.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' information.
• Assist with discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.

Job Description

_ Salary starting at $38 per hour_

• Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation.
• Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the director.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education: Training from an accredited licenses or vocational nursing program

Area of Study: General nursing

Years of Experience: 1+ years

Type of Experience: Senior care or related field

Special Certifications: Must have a Licensed Practical Nurse’s License current in the state in which they are practicing. Also, needs to be CPR Certified

Language Skills: Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.

Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills

Skills and Ability:

• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
