Registered Nurse (RN) - Preoperative
Provides direct patient care following organizational policies and protocols. Implements and monitors care plans, assesses patient conditions, and coordinates multidisciplinary care. Carries out physician and nursing orders, assists with discharge planning, and documents care activities. Conducts comprehensive assessments, identifies patient needs, sets achievable goals, and develops care plans. Implements nursing interventions, ensures patient safety, administers medications, educates patients and families, and evaluates patient progress, modifying plans as necessary. Facilitates seamless care coordination from admission to discharge, including delegation and supervision of staff.
Graduation from an accredited nursing school, with at least one year of RN experience. Must hold a valid Arizona or compact state nursing license, with BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a BSN, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, care planning, communication, and teamwork skills.
