Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The RN will assess patients, implement and monitor care plans, and serve as the primary liaison among the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely recovery.

Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, coordinating discharge planning, educating patients and families, documenting progress, and adjusting care as patients respond.

Qualifications

• RN experience minimum of 1 year.
• Arizona nursing license or eligibility within 30 days.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork essential.

Responsibilities

Role:

Provides specialized nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as a Registered Nurse (RN).

• Responsibilities: Implements and monitors patient care plans, assesses patient conditions, coordinates discharge planning, and serves as the primary liaison among healthcare team members. Ensures patient safety, administers medications, provides treatments, and educates patients and families. Continuously evaluates and modifies care based on patient response, maintaining thorough documentation and facilitating seamless care transitions.
• Key Duties: Conducts initial, re-, and focused assessments; identifies problems; sets goals with patients and families; executes care plans; and manages care coordination through delegation, supervision, and prioritization.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and valid Arizona nursing license or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience.
• Required certifications include BLS; preferred certifications include ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
