Grass Valley Surgery Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) PreOp/PACU - PRN.

Job Summary: Plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients in PreOp / PACU. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to other team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the manager, including serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and projects.

Schedule: Monday-Friday! No call, nights, weekends, or holidays. Free parking. Hourly wage: $50-$60 depending on experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current CA Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of experience in Pre-Op/PACU or critical care
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients
• Understanding of aseptic techniques
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent teaching, communication, and organizational skills
• Professional and ethical conduct
• Ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and team members (teamwork)
