Job summary

Tanner Health in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care and supervise RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in accordance with state practice act.

The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, collaborating with the broader clinical team to maintain high-quality care.

This role requires 1 year of related experience and active Georgia RN license or multistate license, plus CPR certification.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire for relevant units.
• NRP within 6 months for Nursery/ L&D.
• PALS within one year in PACU.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Qualifications as designated in Nursing Clinical Ladder Policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Provide nursing care under the state nurse practice act and supervise staff as assigned.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and document care accurately.

Job description

Experience

One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Licenses & Certifications

• Georgia Registered Nurse or Multistate Nursing License
• Healthcare Provider (CPR)

Qualifications

• NOTE: ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, Float Pool (Critical Care and Maternity), SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.
• NOTE: NRP within 6 months of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• NOTE: PALS within one year of hire in PACU
• NOTE: BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Qualifications as designated in Nursing Clinical Ladder Policy
