Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Montclair, NJ, is seeking a Night Shift Postpartum Couple Care Registered Nurse to join our hospital team. You will deliver bedside nursing, support new families, and coordinate care with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to promote safe, compassionate recovery.

The role requires graduation from NLN/AACN accredited program, NJ RN license, and BLS within 14 days of hire. This on-site position offers a supportive, education-focused environment with opportunities

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or obtained within 14 days of hire.
• RN licensure in New Jersey (NJ RN license) is mandatory.
• BSN preferred but not required depending on experience.
• Recent acute care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse will be responsible for ... Promoting and restoring patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends and families and supervising assigned team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing/American Association of Colleges for Nursing accredited program
• Current valid New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Recent acute care nursing experience.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
