Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Day Surgery Recovery Room on a day shift, PRN basis. You will provide direct patient care and direct clinical staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include an RN license in NJ, an associates degree in nursing, and BLS; ACLS is obtainable within three months. English fluency is required to perform effectively in this environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital or an ambulatory surgery center.
• Active and current NJ State professional Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment).
• Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing, and perform EKG (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment).
• Position requires fluency in the English language to function in the job environment appropriately.
