RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the RWJUH Somerset unit. This day shift, 36 hours per week role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and telemetry experience.

The position offers hourly pay between $46.90 and $63.44 and emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. You will assess patients, administer care, document in EPIC EMR, and collaborate with physicians to make timely, evidence-based decisions.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification strongly preferred.
• At least 1 year telemetry experience preferred.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and modern patient care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to support timely decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly for next steps of care.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds to improve communication and transitions of care.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, youmusthold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification.Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS)Certificationisrequired.At least1year previoustelemerty experienceis preferred.An Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing isstrongly preferred, as isprior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR)like EPIC.This positionis dayshift, 36hours per week, 7am-7:30pm.
