Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Detroit, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN Days. The role involves admitting/transferring patients, performing initial and ongoing assessments, and documenting accurately using hospital systems.

You will interpret labs/telemetry, transcribe orders, and respond to rapid code events while guiding patients and families. Minimum qualifications include a valid state RN license, with BLS and ACLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation.

• Ensure medical orders are transcribed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.

Location: Detroit, Michigan (7th floor of DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital)

Schedule: PRN Days

Compensation: $52.00 per hour plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends

Sign-on bonus: $5,000.00
