Job summary

Start Specialty Hospital NW Detroit, a critical illness recovery hospital, is recruiting a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift roles in Detroit, MI. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and pay up to $52.00 per hour, based on experience, with competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.

The RN will admit and transfer patients, perform comprehensive assessments, document meticulously, interpret labs and telemetry, and ensure orders are accurately processed.

Qualifications

• RN license required and BLS at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Strong ability to assess patients systematically and communicate findings clearly.
• Proficient in documenting in electronic medical records and coordinating care.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Document promptly and accurately; interpret labs and telemetry.
• Ensure orders are transcribed and processed correctly.
• Respond to rapid response or code events.
• Educate patients and families as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License


• BLS is required at hire.


• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
