Select Specialty Hospital NW Detroit is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time dayshift coverage on a Critical Illness Recovery Hospital unit in Detroit, MI. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and pay up to $52.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation in the charting system.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure accurate transcription and processing of medical orders.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
