Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking Registered Nurses II for the Operating Room Per Diem team across Christiana Hospital, Christiana Surgery Center, and Wilmington Hospitals. Per diem shifts include 12‑hour opportunities with 8, 10, and 12 hour options and a 4‑week block of 84 hours.

Include day/evening shifts with competitive pay and ramped orientation. Requirements include a current RN license, BSN or plan to obtain within three years, and at least three years of OR RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current.
• BSN required or commitment to acquiring within three years of hire.
• Three years or more of operating room RN experience required.
• CNOR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Per diem RN serves in various operating rooms at Christiana Hospital, Christiana Surgery Center, and Wilmington Hospitals as required.
• Provides care in a diverse and dynamic perioperative environment.
• Participates in orientation and training as needed.

What to Expect:

Pay rates are based upon the amount of hours you commit to each month. Available shifts will be 12‑hour shifts.

Require 10 shifts of day shift training the first month to attend New Employee Orientation, Nursing Orientation, and training.

Requirements:

• BSN required or commitment to acquiring within three years of hire.
• Current RN licensure required.
• Three years or more of Operating Room Registered Nurse Experience required.
• CNOR certification is a plus.

$56.00 – this pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
