Zusammenfassung

Monarch Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Per Diem schedule to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise daily nursing activities performed by care staff.

You will administer medications, monitor health and safety, and maintain accurate resident documentation using the EHR while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the company’s mission. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• At least 2 years’ experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred
• CPR Certification
• Experience working with residents diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and of nursing practices, techniques and methods.
• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Able to speak, read and write in English.
• Able to work weekends & holidays.

• Take and record vital signs and report adverse reactions or changes in condition to the RN or the LPN in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, as applicable.
• Maintain accurate up to date resident documentation and charting using the EHR.
• Maintaining clinical quality assurance in accordance with federal, state and local standards.
• Communicate effective with interdisciplinary care team members, physicians, and family members.
• Promote the highest degree of service to our residents while leading and demonstrating the mission of the company.
• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
• May be required to participate on call coverage.
• Other duties as assigned, included but not limited to Infection Control Preventionist.

Salary Range: $39.00 - $40.00 Hourly

The Registered Nurse will report directly to the Health and Wellness Director.

This position is classified as non-exempt and is an hourly position.

Job Overview

Physical Abilities

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell. • An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
