Job summary

Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital in partnership with Select Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN, Per Diem role at our Hummelstown, PA location. The position offers compensation of $50.00 per hour with a $6,000 sign-on bonus and night/weekend shift differentials.

Ideal candidates will have a valid RN license, at least one year of RN experience, and BLS at hire. BSN preferred or enrollment in a BSN program, with clinical experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license
• At least one year of RN experience
• BLS certification required at hire
• Preferred: BSN or enrollment in a BSN program
• Preferred: Clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
