Job summary

Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Hummelstown, PA, part of a partnership with Select Medical, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus and competitive night/weekend differentials.

You will provide admissions, nursing assessments, and care coordination using EPIC in a rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate holds a valid RN license, BLS, and preferably a BSN or is pursuing one.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license.
• BLS required at hire.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
