Job summary

Helen M Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital, part of the UPMC & Select Medical partnership, is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem night shifts. Schedule includes 2x12-hour shifts weekly, at least 3 weekends every 6 weeks, and major/minor holidays.

Compensation starts at $60.00 per hour with night/weekend differentials. Inpatient rehab focuses on brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological and orthopedic conditions, aiming to provide compassionate care with strong EPIC documentation and

Qualifications

• Valid RN license (state) required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• BLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Receive admissions and transfers.

Registered Nurse Per Diem/PRN Tier 2 - Night Shift

Schedule: 2 12-hour shifts per week, at least 3 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, and 1 major & 1 minor holiday

Minimum Qualifications
