Job summary
BrightStar Care of Central DuPage is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for extra shifts in Bloomingdale, IL. Opportunities include part-time and per-diem roles with flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay.
Fill 1-on-1 skilled home visits, including 2-, 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts, and facility staffing as needed. Deliver IV meds, wound care, and medication administration per Plan of Care, while monitoring patient changes and communicating with the DON.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license.
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
- Current TB test, CPR certification, and a work physical within the past year.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements.
- Valid driver’s license with vehicle insurance.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications, including IV/TPN, port/PICC line and wound care.
- Provide skilled nursing services per Plan of Care.
- Monitor client/patient conditions and communicate changes to the Director of Nursing.
- Keep families informed about the plan of care and health changes.

- You have a current unrestricted RN license in the state of Illinois?
- You have at least 1 year of Registered Nurse Experience?
- You have a valid TB Test, CPR Certification, & Work Physical within the year?
- You understand regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations?
- You have a valid driver's license & vehicle with insurance?

- Registered Nurse: ($45 - $50 / hour)
- 1-on-1 Skilled Home Visits (2 hr, 4 hr, 8 hr, 12 hr shifts)
- Part-time and/or Per Diem
- Fill in Facility Staffing
- Port/PICC line, TPN, IV Pain meds, and Fluids/TPN
- Medication Administration, Wound Care, Skilled Nursing services
- Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care
- Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs, and keep the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed
- Proactively updates client/patients’ family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
