Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Battle Creek is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN days or nights at the Battle Creek, MI location. The role includes admitting/transfers, patient assessments, and accurate documentation in our inpatient unit.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS required at hire.
• ACLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Critical Illness Recovery Hospital

Location: Battle Creek, Michigan (6th floor of Bronson Battle Creek Hospital)

Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Dayshift or Nightshift

Hours: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:30 am

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Pay: $53.37 per hour

($3.50 shift differentials for nights and $3.50 for weekends)
