Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for a 10-bed Pediatric Unit and a 4-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The role involves providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients with varying medical conditions alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Preferably, candidates should have a minimum of 1 year RN experience, with 1 year in PICU. The position offers a starting pay of $38.96 per hour, along with additional benefits including a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

Overview

Part‑time (0.75FTE) Registered Nurse for a 10‑bed Pediatric Unit and a 4‑bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient and family‑centered care to pediatric patients with acute or chronic medical conditions.
• Provide care to pediatric patients requiring ICU level of care, including traumas, diabetic emergencies, trachs and more.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, Hospitalists, Intensivists, Pharmacists, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators and other support staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license to work in Wisconsin upon hire.
• BLS for health care providers.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; 1 year PICU experience preferred.
