Job Details

• Location: Madison, WI
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or compact license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, PALS certification from the American Heart Association, 2 years of recent acute care experience in pediatric intensive care, Basic Arrhythmia experience, and a baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NICU and Pediatric CVICU, certification in pediatric trauma, and proficiency in telemetry monitoring.
• Additional Responsibilities: Provide care for patients with head injuries, neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi-system organ failure, and ECMO. Float rotation may be required across various units depending on staffing needs. The candidate must pass telemetry interpretation exams with strict criteria, including adult and pediatric cardiac rhythm recognition.
• Certifications: Active BLS, PALS, and RN license.
• Travel Requirements: Travel experience required. All travelers must have at least two years of recent inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the relevant specialty.
• Additional Info: Mandatory shift flexibility for floating, with shifts potentially scheduled across different units within the organization.
