Job summary

Child Health Associates in Auburn, MA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our pediatric outpatient team. This full-time role offers a four-day workweek, a consistent weekly schedule, one evening shift until 7 PM, and one weekday off each week.

You will provide nursing care to children, perform telephone triage, administer vaccines and treatments, assist providers during visits, document in the EMR, and educate families to support high-quality, family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license required.
• Pediatric, family practice, primary or ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Telephone triage experience preferred and strong communication skills.

Schedule

• Full-time, 4-day workweek
• Consistent weekly schedule
• One evening shift per week until 7:00 PM
• One weekday off each week
• One weekend shift per month

What You'll Do

• Provide nursing care and support to pediatric patients in an outpatient practice
• Perform telephone triage and provide clinical guidance to patients and families according to established protocols
• Assess patient concerns and communicate effectively with providers regarding care needs and follow-up recommendations
• Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments as ordered
• Assist providers during patient visits and office procedures
• Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and health concerns
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-focused clinical environment

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Pediatric, family practice, primary care, or ambulatory care experience preferred
• Telephone triage experience preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of patient care
