Job summary

Child Health Associates in Auburn, MA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our outpatient pediatric team. This full-time role emphasizes building relationships with families, delivering patient education, and applying strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced setting.

You will provide nursing care to pediatric patients, perform telephone triage, administer immunizations and treatments, document in the EMR, and collaborate with providers to ensure timely follow-up and high-quality

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Pediatric, family practice, primary care, or ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Telephone triage experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to pediatric patients in an outpatient practice.
• Perform telephone triage and provide clinical guidance to patients and families according to established protocols.
• Assess patient concerns and communicate with providers regarding care needs and follow-up recommendations.
• Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments as ordered.
• Assist providers during patient visits and office procedures.
• Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and health concerns.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-focused clinical environment.

Schedule

• Full-time, 4-day workweek


• One evening shift per week until 7:00 PM


• One weekday off each week

What You'll Do
