Job summary

Child Health Associates in Auburn, MA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatric outpatient team. The role offers a full-time, four-day workweek with one evening shift per week until 7:00 PM and one weekday off.

You will provide direct pediatric care, perform triage, document encounters, and support families with treatment plans in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. We offer competitive pay ($32.50-$39.00/hour) plus health insurance, paid vacation, a 401(k)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
• Perform telephone triage, assess patient symptoms, and guide families per protocols.
• Document telephone encounters accurately and communicate patient concerns to providers.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as ordered.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and health concerns.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Support patient flow and contribute to a positive patient experience.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and fellow staff.
