The Staff Pad, partnering with a leading healthcare system in Wausau, WI, is recruiting Registered Nurses for a newly expanded Cardiac Tower and PCU. This is a high-acuity, cardiothoracic and post-surgical unit with advanced telemetry.

Open to new grads and experienced RNs, the role offers hands-on learning, supportive teamwork, and room to grow in cardiac nursing. Current Wisconsin or compact-state RN license required; BLS certification required; ACLS preferred; opportunities to advance within

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Wisconsin or compact-state eligibility.
• Interest in cardiac, high-acuity, or critical care nursing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• New graduates and experienced RNs are welcome.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, compassionate care to complex cardiothoracic and post-surgical patients.
• Monitor high-acuity patients and recognize changes in condition.
• Manage IV drips, chest tubes, central lines, and advanced telemetry.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Deliver patient-centered care focused on quality outcomes.
