Job summary

Community Health Network's East Campus Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Pain Block OR team on the day shift. You will assist with anesthesia pain services and circulate or scrub during slower periods, delivering compassionate care to patients and families.

The role requires an Indiana RN license, OR experience (pain block strongly preferred), and IV conscious sedation familiarity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Prefer at least 2 years+ experience as an RN in the operating room; pain block experience strongly preferred
• IV conscious sedation experience preferred
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in Indiana per NLC

Responsibilities

• Will be part of a professional care team responsible for anesthesia pain services as well as floating to circulate and scrub during slower periods.
• Will collaborate with all members of the care team to provide exceptional care and compassion to our patient population and the families we serve.
• Will adhere to the AORN guidelines and standards for perioperative nursing.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• -Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• -Prefer at least 2 years+ experience as an RN in the operating room; pain block experience strongly preferred
• -IV conscious sedation experience preferred
• -Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
