Job summary

Community Health Network's East Campus Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room on a PRN schedule. The RN will circulate and scrub on a variety of surgical cases and collaborate with the care team to provide exceptional perioperative care to patients and families.

Candidates must have an Indiana RN license and meet education/experience requirements, including an NLN/CCNE/ACEN accredited program or 3 years in nursing. PRN/shift hours vary between 7a–6p.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/CCNE/ACEN accredited nursing program or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience (circulating/scrub).
• Licensed as an RN in Indiana (NLC).

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub on a variety of surgical cases with the care team.
• Collaborate to deliver exceptional perioperative care to patients and families.
• Adhere to AORN guidelines and perioperative nursing standards.

Make a Difference

Community's East Campus Surgery Center OR Registered Nurse will be part of a professional care team responsible for circulating and scrubbing on a variety of surgical cases. Will collaborate with all members of the care team to provide exceptional care and compassion to our patient population and the families we serve. Will adhere to the AORN guidelines and standards for perioperative nursing.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• -Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• -2 years+ experience working in the operating room environment (circulating/scrub).
• -Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
