Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a Full Time PACU RN to cover 4x10 hour shifts, supporting PreOp and Recovery in a multi-specialty surgery service. On-call coverage, weekends and holidays apply. The role operates in a high-volume, safety-focused environment with advanced robotic and navigation technologies.

Virginia RN licensure and BSN are required, with BLS at start. The ideal candidate will have PACU or critical care exposure, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 1 year PACU or CC nursing experience required.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years.
• Current RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required at start.

Responsabilités

• Work in PreOp and Recovery, including phase 1 and phase 2 recovery.
• Provide care for PACU patients during post-anesthesia recovery.

Job Description

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a Full Time experienced PACU RN. Full Time: Monday-Friday 4x 10 hour shifts, covering 6a-10.30p; shift hours will vary. On-call coverage required with on call shifts, weekend and holidays. Inova’s Perianesthesia Nurses work both PreOp and Recovery to include phase 1 and phase 2 recovery. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital (IFOH) is a top-ranked 182-bed acute care community hospital serving the rapidly growing suburbs of Northern Virginia that is committed to providing safe care, excellent service and is continuously striving to improve each patient's unique experience. Located in western Fairfax County, IFOH's Pre-op has 20 bay unit that runs from 0545-1815 daily and the PACU has 26 bays that run from 0730-2230 daily M-F offering a comprehensive range of surgical specialties, including spine; joint replacement; retina; breast; gynecology; general; and bariatric weight loss. We perform over 10,000 surgical cases annually using some of the most advanced technology such as Stryker Mako Robotic-Assisted Joint Procedures, Globus Excelsius Robotic Spine Navigation Platform, OrthAlign Precision Navigation and Medtronic StealthStation Navigation.

RN PACU Qualifications

• One year of PACU or CC nursing (ICU or ED) experience is required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• BLS healthcare provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required at start

RN PACU Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of PACU or critical care nursing (ICU or ED).
