Haywood Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Outpatient Services. The position is PRN with days, focused on pediatric patients, and shifts include 8hr and 10hr options with opportunities to work other days.
Qualified candidates hold an active NC or compact RN license, an associate degree (BSN preferred), and BLS; ACLS/PALS within six months. Roles involve high-quality patient care and collaboration with the healthcare team.

The operating room is equipped with six beds and handles an average of 400 cases per month. The scope of procedures includes a diverse range of specialties: Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Cataract, Urology, Gynecologic, Laparoscopic and Endoscopic, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic and Reconstructive, and Gastroenterological surgeries. The majority of cases are general and orthopedic. Surgical operations are conducted Monday through Friday, with additional night, weekend, and holiday call rotations to ensure continuous coverage. Our Recovery provides direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families. Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Weekend and holiday call and occasion weeknight call coverage.
