Job summary

Lifepoint Health Sumner is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide outpatient services in the Same Day Surgery setting. You will deliver direct patient care using established nursing processes, within a full-time day-shift schedule in Gallatin, TN.

The role requires RN licensure, an ASN or higher, BCLS certification, and 1 year of Medical/Surgical or surgery nursing experience is preferred. ACLS/PALS within 6 months may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred; ASN required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BCLS required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of Medical/Surgical or Surgery Nursing experience preferred.

How You'll Contribute

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in Same Day Surgery.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice
• BCLS required; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical or Surgery Nursing - Preferred

Skills: Critical thinking and decisive judgment; ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment; proficiency navigating multiple clinical software systems; effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand); ability to complete Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
