Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Surgery (OR) Circulator Registered Nurse to join our patient-centered team.

You will assess, plan, and document care for surgical patients, uphold Oklahoma RN standards, and coordinate intraoperative care with the team. Eligible candidates possess BLS, ACLS, and an Oklahoma RN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required.
• Current Oklahoma RN license.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care per standards for efficient patient care.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and demonstrate growth/development knowledge.
• Develop and modify the care plan in alignment with patient needs and policies.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing,evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care.
• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary toprovide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflectiveof the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative tohis/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modificationand implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Adhere to andabide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited nursing school
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS certification
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse

• At least one year of experience as an RN in the area of application
