Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Surgery (OR) Circulator Registered Nurse (RN). You will be accountable for perioperative patient care, assessments, planning, and documentation in a fast-paced surgical unit.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, Oklahoma RN license, BLS and ACLS, with CNOR preferred, and at least one year of RN experience in the applicable area. A People-First culture supports growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
• At least one year of RN experience in perioperative or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care per HHS standards.
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients on the assigned unit.
• Assess data and identify patient requirements based on age-specific needs.
• Develop, modify and implement the plan of care per policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing,evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care.
• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary toprovide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflectiveof the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative tohis/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modificationand implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Adhere to andabide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
