Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Surgery (OR) Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. The role focuses on direct patient care, circulating during procedures and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Oklahoma RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of RN experience in the surgical area. CNOR is preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care in accordance with standards to deliver patient care.
• Demonstrate ability to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served on the unit.
• Understand growth and development needs across the life span and assess data to identify patient requirements.
• Develop and modify the plan of care in line with policies to deliver efficient and quality care.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing,evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care.
• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary toprovide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflectiveof the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative tohis/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modificationand implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective andquality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Adhere to andabide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited nursing school
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS certification
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse

Preferred Job Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as an RN in the area of application
