Job summary

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM seeks a registered nurse to join our 12-bed OR unit, caring for patients undergoing general, bariatric, orthopedic and urological procedures alongside a dedicated team.

You will implement plan-of-care interventions, deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, and leverage advanced technology to improve patient outcomes in a collaborative environment that supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients in the OR.
• Assist RNs, CSTs and FAs as part of the team.
• Apply plan-of-care interventions and utilize enabling technology.

Department/Unit Summary

Join our team in a 12-bed OR unit, located on the 1st floor, where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of RNs, CSTs and FAs. You will play a crucial role in assisting our patients in general surgery, bariatrics surgery, orthopedic and urological procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
