Job summary

Memorial Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to join our 22-bed ASU/Preop/PMC unit on the 1st floor. You’ll work with RNs, CNAs, and unit secretaries to provide specialized care for preoperative patients and use advanced monitoring technology to ensure optimal outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, an associate degree in nursing, BLS within 30 days, ACLS/PALS within six months, and prefer at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized plan-of-care interventions and serve as a patient-care innovator in the ASU/Preop/PMC unit.
• Utilize advanced monitoring technology to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Contribute to patient journeys and wellbeing through skilled nursing care.

Department/Unit Summary

Join our team in a 22-bed ASU/Preop/PMC unit, located on the 1st floor. We are staffed with RNs, CNAs and unit secretaries, providing specialized care for preoperative patients from general surgery, bariatrics surgery, orthopedic and urological procedures. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced monitoring technology to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure optimal outcomes for our diverse patient population.

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
