Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room for a full-time day shift at Texas Health Alliance, Fort Worth. The role involves 36 hours per week with a 7:00am to 7:00pm schedule and required on-call duties. Candidates should have OR experience, and be prepared to meet BCLS/ACLS requirements.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required at hire; BCLS certification prior to independent patient care and quarterly maintenance
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program
• Operating Room experience strongly preferred

• Respond to patient safety and care priorities with professional nursing actions
• Honor patient dignity and provide compassionate, respectful care
• Engage families and caregivers in care planning and education
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to solve problems and support patient needs
• Provide attentive, reliable, and supportive communication to patients and families

Here's What You Need

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR

• Associate's Degree Nursing required OR

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required

• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred

• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND

• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required
