Job summary

Texas Health Denton is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. Day shift, 7:00am–3:00pm, full-time with call. 1 year OR experience preferred; RN licensure required at hire.

Requires BCLS and ACLS within 90 days. Hospital offers strong team culture, professional growth, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ADN or BSN required; RN licensure required on hire.
• 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency program required; OR experience preferred.
• BCLS before patient care and ACLS within 90 days required.

• Respond to patient safety and basic needs in care settings.
• Engage families/caregivers in care planning and decision-making.
• Demonstrate teamwork and professional communication to support patient care.

Work hours: Full Time (40 Hours); Day Shift, 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday, call required

Here's What You Need

• Nursing Diploma required OR
• Associate's Degree Nursing required OR
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• 1 year operating room experience highly preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required
