Job summary

Texas Health Denton is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU. The role is full-time (36 hours), day shift 8:45am–9:15pm, with call required, at 3000 North I-35 Denton, TX 76201. A Nursing Diploma/ADN is required; BSN preferred, with 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN residency program.

Here’s What You Need
  • Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR
  • Associate's Degree Nursing required OR
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • 1 year previous PACU experience or Critical Care experience (ICU or ED) preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required AND
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support if working in inpatient recovery 90 days required
