Location: 355 Grand Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302 (Jersey City Medical Center)

Shift: Night (7:00 pm – 7:30 am)

Compensation: $47.85 – $67.04 per hour (The compensation offered will depend on educational background, skills and professional experience)

Per diem: minimum 4 shifts per month, at least one weekend and rotating holidays

Job Overview

Since 1882, Jersey City Medical Center has provided advanced medical treatment across a broad spectrum of disciplines. The RN Float Pool role provides extraordinary care to patients in all populations, including trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, oncology and alcohol withdrawal, implementing policies and procedures in compliance with the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act.

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (bachelor’s degree strongly preferred)
• 1–2 years of telemetry/medical‑surgical hospital experience (intermediate care and ventilator experience preferred)

Scheduling Requirements

• Night shift, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am; schedule varies by department needs
• Per diem: required to work a minimum of four shifts per month, at least one weekend, and rotating holidays
