Job summary

Catholic Health in Long Island seeks a skilled Nursery RN to provide antepartum, obstetric, and post-partum care for mother–baby pairs. You will assess, monitor, administer medications, document progress and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Requirements: 1+ year RN obstetric/nursery/post-partum experience; BSN preferred (associates considered if enrolled in BSN); NY RN license; BLS and NRP. Salary: USD 56.39–73.66 per hour plus benefits.

Our Nursery RN's:

• Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall antepartum, obstetric, and post-partum care for couplets of stable mothers and babies.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education (including bonding and lactation).

What you'll bring:

• Passion for Mother/Baby Nursing
• 1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in an obstetric, nursery, or post-partum unit.
• 2-3 yrs of medical/surgical nursing experience
• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
• Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required

Salary Range

USD $56.39 - USD $73.66 /Hr.
