Job summary

Ann’s Choice by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote and maintain residents’ health by collaborating with providers and the care team. The RN will support residents and families with physical and psychosocial needs.

This role requires at least 6 months of RN experience, active RN license in Pennsylvania, CPR certification, and basic computer skills. We offer $40-$49/hour plus shift diff, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience caring for seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet and web applications.
• Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) is preferred.
• Must have an active RN license in the state in which they will practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach to support physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and nursing standards.
• Promote resident independence by establishing care goals and teaching residents and families.
• Monitor residents’ clinical and care conditions and respond to changes.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications as ordered.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic plan of care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Support resident preferences in the EMR.
• Ensure documentation is current and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.

Location: Ann's Choice by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as Registered Nurse (RN). The RN promotes, restores, and maintains resident’s health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates. The RN’s primary role is to provide physical and psych-social support to residents and families.

Compensation: $40-$49/hour, depending on years of experience plus shift dif.

Schedule: 11p-7a, 1 weekday and every other weekend in SKILLED Nursing

How you will make an impact

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Performing all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice
• Promoting resident’s independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a resident’s condition, medication, and self-care skills
• Monitoring a resident clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Working alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed
• Maintaining infection prevention practices, administering medications, and performing treatments per orders.
• Developing and coordinating a comprehensive Holistic plan of care to meet the resident’s clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team
• Supporting resident’s preferences, routines, and choices in resident’s electronic medical record
• Ensuring that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
• Participating in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager

What you will need
