Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) New Grad for Telemetry. This full-time, night-shift role offers a $20,000 commitment-incentive bonus and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Join a 24-bed telemetry unit with self-scheduling, a diverse patient population, and opportunities to work with experienced leaders in cardiology care. Applicants must have an RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS requirements apply within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

The RN Telemetry team at Frye Regional Medical Center offers a supportive, team-oriented culture where nurses collaborate closely to provide exceptional cardiac and telemetry care. The 24-Bed unit features self-scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and every-other-weekend rotation, helping promote flexibility and work-life balance. Nurses gain valuable experience caring for a diverse patient population while working alongside experienced leaders and a strong interdisciplinary team.

• 4:1 Patient Ratio
• 12 Hour Shifts

• Cardiology Procedures and Telemetry Monitoring
• Pre & Post Cardiac Cath Patients

How you'll contribute

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
