Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an RN Telemetry nurse for night shift on a 24-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio. You will perform admissions, assessments, and care planning on a 12-hour shift and contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration.

Current RN license required; BSN preferred but not mandatory. ACLS/PALS deadlines apply, and a commitment-incentive bonus of $20,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• ACLS and PALS certification within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Document medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conduct timely QI assessments.

The RN Telemetry team at Frye Regional Medical Center offers a supportive, team-oriented culture where nurses collaborate closely to provide exceptional cardiac and telemetry care. The 24- Bed unit features self-scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and every-other-weekend rotation, helping promote flexibility and work-life balance. Nurses gain valuable experience caring for a diverse patient population while working alongside experienced leaders and a strong interdisciplinary team.

How You\'ll Contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What We\'re Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Bachelor\'s degree preferred but not required. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
