Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neuro Surgical ICU on the full-time night shift. This 22-bed unit features a 1:2 nurse-patient ratio and focuses on stroke, CRRT, and high-acuity critical care.

The ideal candidate has an RN license (TX), an associate/ diploma in nursing, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, and a strong commitment to patient safety. CLIAFE compliance and ongoing education support growth in a collaborative, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • Foreign education equivalency (CLIAFE) required.
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board.
  • BCLS prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
  • ACLS within 90 days of hire.
  • CPI training within 90 days of hire.
  • NIHSS within 6 months of hire.
  • 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency program.
  • ICU/PCU, Telemetry and ED experience preferred.

Here’s What You Need
  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
  • BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS – within 90 days of hire required
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
  • NIHSS – within 6 months of hire required
  • 1-year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • ICU/PCU, Telemetry and ED experience preferred
