Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Charge RN for the PCU (PRN, Days) at Texas Health Southwest in Fort Worth, TX. The role supports a 36-bed PCU with a 1:4 nurse/patient ratio and a focus on telemetric post-acute care including stroke patients.

You will lead a nursing team, participate in governance, and pursue ongoing education and leadership development in a Magnet-designated facility.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting required
• 2-years’ experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting preferred
• Current PCU experience strongly preferred
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
• BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
• ACLS – within 90 days of hire
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
• NIHSS – within 90 days of hire

Work hours: PRN/per diem, Days

Department Highlights

Here’s what you need

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
